Inclusive Care & Support

At Reform Initiative Uganda, we believe that dignity is a right—not a privilege. Our Inclusive Care & Support program is dedicated to uplifting the lives of those who are often forgotten: orphans, vulnerable children, sex workers, the elderly, and people with disabilities. These individuals face harsh realities every day—poverty, abandonment, stigma, abuse, and physical limitations. Our goal is to restore their hope by meeting their essential needs with compassion and consistency.

This program is the foundation of our mission: to ensure that every person, regardless of circumstance, is cared for, supported, and given the tools to thrive.

Care for People with Disabilities

Many individuals with disabilities in Uganda live without access to healthcare, mobility, or basic necessities. They are often excluded from education, employment, and even community life. Our Disability Support initiative focuses on restoring their independence and dignity through:

  • Provision of wheelchairs and mobility aids

  • Medical care and support for disability-related conditions

  • Nutritional food packages for individuals and their caregivers

  • Home modifications and assistive devices to promote independent living

Every wheelchair we provide means freedom. Every treatment offered is a step toward a better quality of life. Join us in helping people with disabilities live with dignity.

Support for the Elderly

Many elderly people in our communities are abandoned or live in extreme poverty, without anyone to care for them. Through our Elderly Support Program, we offer:

  • Nutritious food and clean drinking water

  • Warm bedding, clothing, and basic necessities like soap and toothpaste

  • Ongoing social support and companionship to combat loneliness

Your support can bring warmth and comfort to an elderly person who feels forgotten. Sponsor an elderly person’s care today.

Orphan & Vulnerable Children Support

Children without parents or family support are at risk of exploitation, abuse, and lifelong poverty. Our Orphan Care and Vulnerable Children Program provides:

  • Safe shelter and accommodation

  • Nutritious meals and clothing

  • Access to education, school supplies, and mentorship

  • Psychosocial support and counseling

We raise children in an environment where they are safe, supported, and free to dream.

Basic Support for Sex Workers

Sex workers often live at the intersection of poverty, stigma, and exploitation. While our rehabilitation program offers long-term empowerment, our Inclusive Care & Support program ensures their immediate needs are met through:

  • Provision of food, clothing, and sanitary items

  • Access to free condoms and reproductive health services

  • Workshops focused on self-care, safety, and health education

  • Emotional support and trauma-informed counseling

Even before they exit the streets, these women deserve to be treated with dignity and care.
Support our outreach to sex workers;- help us provide hygiene kits, food, and care today.

You Can Make a Difference

Your generosity can put food on the table for an elderly person, give mobility to someone with a disability, provide warm bedding to an orphan, or help a sex worker stay safe and healthy. Every act of kindness—big or small—goes directly to someone who needs it most.

Help us bring hope, dignity, and love to the forgotten.
