Life Restoration Programs

At Reform Initiative Uganda, we believe that every person—no matter their past—deserves a second chance.

Our Life Restoration Programs are designed to help individuals rebuild their lives after trauma, poverty, abandonment, or exploitation. We walk alongside sex workers, street children, orphans, people with disabilities, widows, single mothers, and the elderly, helping them heal, find purpose, and restore their dignity.

Through rehabilitation, counseling, economic empowerment, and mentorship, we don’t just rescue people from crisis—we equip them to live transformed, independent lives.

Prostitution Rehabilitation

Many women and girls in sex work are not there by choice, but by circumstance—trapped by poverty, abuse, or lack of alternatives. Our Prostitution Rehabilitation Program offers a compassionate exit and a new beginning. We provide:

  • Rescue and safe housing for women wanting to leave prostitution

  • Trauma counseling and emotional healing

  • Vocational skills training (tailoring, baking, crafts, hairdressing)

  • Startup support and tools to launch small businesses

  • Ongoing mentorship and peer support groups

Street Children Rehabilitation

Children living on the streets face hunger, abuse, addiction, and exploitation daily. Our Street Kids Rehabilitation Program is designed to rescue, heal, and reintegrate these children into safe, nurturing environments. We provide:

  • Street outreach and rescue services

  • Addiction recovery and trauma counseling

  • Access to education and vocational training

  • Shelter, food, clothing, and basic medical care

  • Family tracing and reintegration support, where possible

Every child rescued from the streets is a future saved. Sponsor a child’s rehabilitation today.

Orphan Life Restoration

Orphans need more than food and shelter—they need healing, purpose, and love. Through our Life Restoration support for orphans, we ensure that children grow in environments where they feel safe, valued, and supported for the long term. Our care includes:

  • Counseling and psychosocial support

  • Mentorship and guidance on life skills

  • Creative activities and spiritual nurturing

  • Support through education, skills development, and transition into adulthood

You can help rewrite the story of an orphaned child—from survival to thriving. Support an orphan’s journey today.

Widows & Single Mothers Empowerment

Widows and single mothers are often left to raise families with no support, no income, and little hope. Our program restores stability and dignity through:

  • Vocational training in tailoring, baking, and small-scale farming

  • Startup kits or capital to launch income-generating activities

  • Emotional support groups and trauma recovery

  • Parenting guidance and support for their children’s education

When a mother is empowered, her children and community rise with her. Help us empower 50 widows and single mothers with the tools to succeed.

Psychosocial Support for the Elderly & Disabled

Beyond physical needs, many elderly individuals and people with disabilities silently suffer from depression, isolation, and trauma. Our restoration approach addresses the heart as well as the body:

  • Emotional counseling and companionship visits

  • Support groups for shared experiences and healing

  • Motivational talks and spiritual care

  • Life skills and purposeful engagement activities

A conversation, a visit, or a support group can be the lifeline they’ve been waiting for. Restore joy and connection to someone who feels forgotten.

Help Restore What Was LOST.

Through our Life Restoration Programs, you’re not just feeding or clothing someone—you’re helping them heal, grow, and rebuild a life of meaning. You’re offering a new chapter filled with opportunity, not despair. These are stories of transformation—and you can be part of them.
